Bog: I am not sure where our new poster friends have comeFrom and why their sudden interest in NCU? Possible similarity to your buzzards?
Now it is interesting that your greatest interest is with respect to dead moose!
My own fascination started when the Babar story was read to me at age 3 or 4 = where I had to ask several times =
. “Daddy what do you do with a dead elephant ?”
Now I also recall that the recently deceased was painted a vivid green!
My only in person connection with a large recently deceased creature was when we when we went on safari to the Serengeti back in 2014. One morning as we were out in our safari vehicle we came across a Cape buffalo? A very large quite dead creature! This carcass appeared to be in perfect condition and thus the question = how did it die? As well as “when will the members of the clean-up squad show up”?
Luckily we didn’t stay around long enough to get to the stage where a “45” might have been used to avoid an unpleasant explosion!
As to what to do with a dead moose?
If the dead moose was the result of a hunting trip I am told that one should try and kill the moose close to transportation!
As to a dead moose who just happened to die in your front yard there is no easy solution = possibly a large. Fire, or several bags of lime! And if there is any soil a front end loader so one can bury the creature!
I suspect that this isn’t the answer you were looking for= ?
That said it is certainly better than having a dead whale on ones beach!
Stay safe
Rock
ps when in East Africa we saw a number of elephants however all were up and moving = and some of the time actually charging us!
I encourage all to visit the Serengeti = it is an incredible place!
