that's a fairly good recap of the call. I'm really just left with a lot of questions. I never could figure out why we rose from the mid .60s not that long ago to .90. They announce a conference call yesterday? No previous notice Is that correct? The day before US Thanksgiving when a lot of folks are already off. They announce a raise while endeavoring in buybacks. The top line is much improved but the bottom line is still negative. And when are they walking away from this legal mess? All in all, a bad day for ROI
Having been here in the order of 6 years, and thus going through about 24 of these quarterlies, if you expect very little then you're not disappointed when it arrives. As with most venture companies it never seems to matter how much comes in on the income side because they can always beat it on the expense side. There's always something. I must say I have been pleasantly surprised over the last couple of weeks in getting my original 4.5 cents up over 9 cents but now we're pulling back to take another run. Two steps forward one step back -- better than one step forward two steps back.
A PP was pretty much a no-brainer as they most always follow a consolidation at some point. That's part of the logic of the consolidation process -- it gets the share count down to that range where you can then add to the count again without having those big numbers.
I am 2 for 2 today on the news reactions and waiting for one more that is halted pending news. I somehow expect it to make me 3 for 3 but it would be nice to have one as a positive. We'll see - it's been halted since before the open which to me suggests it's not going to be good news at this time.
