RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Interesting facts from the Bleeding Edge newsletterGGG, not disputing what you write....except, there are no Democrats in U.K., France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Holland, Belgium, etc, to politicise the health issue, and they have the same health challenges. Btw, don't blame the Democrats for Trumps defeat, blame Trump. No one voted for Biden; the vote was, for, or against, Trump. And the vote went against him.
I take your point about nursing homes etc, all true. However, Covid is also killing apparently healthy young people, and strangely, people with type A blood type ( more than other blood types). Is covid killing enough apparently healthy young people to warrant the economic damage done be shutdowns of various sorts...that's a valid question. Interestingly, all countries that can afford to shut down, western countries, have taken that option. Sweden and Japan haven't, for two...but both of those have more disciplined populations than 'we' do, and both are certainly, now, wearing masks and socially distancing ( sweden adopting masks right now ).
Sometimes there are no 'right answers'.
The OffGuardian stats are wrong, in that, if, as WHO speculates, 10 % of the world has been infected, then we need to know the death rate for that group of people...can't just use the death rate for the mostly western covid patients, must use one related to 'the ten percent'......and we don't have such statistics, likely because many of the places these covid patients live in, and some died in, don't keep very good stats. Anyway. OffGuarian fatality stat of 0.14% is wrong, obviously...unless NOT ONE of that 10% died.
