Don't worry about your influence.  seriously, do not worry about that.  i've been wanting a buyout for years now - so this really isn't a "fast" thing.

A bear market in gold can last a very long time.  don't ever think otherwise.  one year ago, did anyone anticipate what happened to oil.  no.  there is significant risk even to the best projects.  the further in the future the "big payday" comes, the greater the risk.

I will not be around until production - i can assure you that.
