For the second time in eight months, Justin Trudeau's mistakes will cost lives.
Except this time, even the most staunch Liberal partisan is out of excuses. There's no one else to blame but dear leader.
While the PM debated about the potential 'discrimination' of border measures in March, residents in government-neglected Long-Term Care were dying of COVID-19.
And now, they won't have the assistance of vaccines during a crucial respiratory season, while the rest of the 1st, 2nd, and even 3rd world (!) have seemingly jumped ahead of Canada in the queue -- all because our unserious prime minister failed to secure a timely order.
Asked repeatedly about when we might see a vaccine -- given that Canada's allies are already booking appointments -- Trudeau could only traffic in Orwellian doublespeak and clumsy sports analogies.
His most nonsensical reponse? "I know there’s a lot of focus on the starting line...but this pandemic doesn’t get over until we reach the finish line."
Those are the words of a man truly out of his depth, at a moment that requires a steady hand, a better understanding of who to support and who to enable, and an adult, business-minded approach that can actually get deals done, while bettering a Canadian supply chain that now struggles to even distribute the seasonal flu shot.
But then again, this is the same man who appointed a former graphic designer as his health minister, and a former journalist as his finance minister.
When you elect a clown, you really do get a circus.
In the months to come, when those looking to the vaccine grow weary of everyone else receiving it, and the rest of the Canadian public grows tired of seeing public officials unfairly target small businesses while supporting the big box stores, the PM won't be so desperate to call an election anymore. He'll be desperate to avoid one.
Which is why we can't allow this group of amateurs to continue to benefit from our hardships. The Trudeau Liberals know how bad these next few months will be for their regime, so we need to be ready for anything.
We've noticed that the big Liberal campaign machine is officially up and running, and we're seeing a major push from coast-to-coast. We're countering that the best we can, and standing up for small business owners and 'the little guy' with ads and campaigns reaching millions per month.
Our last month alone, we've driven more online engagement on the key platforms than the Liberal Party, the NDP, CBC Politics, and the million-dollar special-interests that want to flatten Canadian small business for another year, destroy our energy sector, and then profit off the equal sharing of misery that they themselves are completely immune to.
