right on sarge. as a child of the universe i know that the two main forces shaping our galaxy are time and luck ;)
you can't push a rope so if you don't have patience for an undervalued share price to revert to its mean, then you shouldn't be in the market. it takes time.
and the worst thing that can happen to a new investor is to get in at the bottom and out at the top. he/she will believe that skill and investment acumen were responsible for their good fortune and then go crazy for the rest of their investmenting life trying to repeat that feat.
never underestimate the importance of luck.
