RE:Pathetic :@
Seelow7, not sure who you are referring to, but I have read many complaints on this board about day traders/flippers. Anyone on this board that says anything that doesn't equate to "invest your life savings in TRIP immediately" is pilloried as a short seller or day trader. It doesn't seem that majority of this board understands that just because you occasionally sell part of your holding doesn't necessarily mean you aren't long a stock in general. Not sure how many people on this board get certain investing concepts like profit taking, portfolio balancing, trimming a position, core positions, risk reduction (particulary around uncertain events like AGM with unproven CEO) etc. None of these activities equate to being a day trader. A day trader is someone who buys or sells something and then closes their position before market closes. I don't do day trading. But I did sell half my position last week at $0.12, for a 60.21% profit, and I just replaced half of what I sold today at $.11. That gives me a 9.09% cost reduction per share on that half of the position. And frankly, even a .005 gain, which you mock as measly, at these share prices is a 4.55% gain. And while I'm not a day trader, if you can make 4.55% in a day that isn't something I would deride either. Short term traders provide a lot of utility to market like liquididy and volume.
