BAKS supplies potassium, sulfur, silicone & manganeseLooks like an interesting product launch is underway with some very impressive science behind its creation and a very cost effective way for farmers to reap the benefits of adding sulpher to their fertilizer mix.
Some immediate questions come to mind:
What is the manufacturing process required to produce BAKS as a finished product - can it come off the same production line as the Sao Gotardo plant?
Where does the sulpher component come from - does this element require purchaing as a raw material to be added to the existing K-Forte formulation. What does this add to the cost per tonne of finished product?
I am assuming the finished product is like Super Greensand in its talc like consistency - does this require the farmer to use different equipment to properly apply the product to the ground?
Is this product packaged and shipped in 20 Kg bags or 1 tonne heavy duty plastic carriers?
Lots of details to look forward to on December 15, 2020 when the formal announcement is scheduled to be made.
