Obviously Covid has been the NDP priority for the last 9 months.
That said, the EAO is still supposedly working.

My guess is that the NDP were hoping that LBN would realize the mine as designed, was safe, and that there were multiple benefits for the LBN. 

I think the reality is that the NDP are failing to educate and inform LBN.

With all the recent court rulings and agreements with LBN and BC FNs in general, it seems to me that the NDP can push the mine forward without LBN's blessing. However, working together on a common goal is simply a lot easier and more productive.
