The Company is focused on the mining, development and exploration of minerals and precious metals from its property interests located primarily in Africa. The Kamoa-Kakula Copper Complex project stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, approximately 25 kilometers (km) west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 km west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi. The Kipushi mine is adjacent to the town of Kipushi in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) approximately 30 km southwest of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi. The 21 licenses in the Western Foreland cover a combined area of 1,808 square kilometers to the north, south and west of the Kamoa-Kakula Copper Complex.

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:BREAK AND RUN IMMINENTI really believe that the impact of short covering is likely to be minimal.
Those with short positions do not cover just because a shre price is moving up.
The shares which have been sold short may be part of a multi-facetted strategy involvong option trades or a pairs  trading strategy.
Over the last six months the Ivanhoe shares have doubled in price, and have traded a total of 287 million shareson the TSX. During this period the declared short position in Toronto has fallen by only four millions shares (from 13mm to 9mm)
At this stage I think the important thing is to focus on the great underlying fumdamental story of the company.
At  Cdn.$6 per share, with a strong copper price and production not far ahead, this is a company which should attract a lot of buying interest in thee months ahead..
