Kentucky connection - a bit of a stretchMarch madness is no longer being held in the original 13 sites spread out over the usa because of covid. Instead, the state of Indiana will be hosting all 67 games. Indianopolis will host the final four as previously scheduled.
Mitch Barnhart, chair of the Division I Men’s Basketball Committee and University of Kentucky athletics director leads the decision making process to keep venues safe so that the tournament can be played.
Our good friend Brooks Downing happens to be a graduate of the University of Kentucky and operates his business out of lexington Kentucky.
Fingers crossed that Mitch likes kentucky home cooking and goes with BDG/LOOP to help with the bubbles in Indiana. With 3 months to go before the madness kicks off, hopefully the committee is considering the success of the tournaments that were just held in the vegas and florida bubbles.
Hopefully we will all be getting lucky in kentucky!
