RE:RE:RE:No Replies
You know it's bad when several of us who, a few months ago, were optimistic are now losing hope.
I likely will swallow a loss on my other account where my ACB is $.316. I doubt at this rate we will ever get back there.
Now it is interesting if someone is grabbing 2 million shares here. I don't think anyone randomly does that. That may be a glimmer of hope.
I still want Martello to succeed, but we need new leadership - at the top, in marketing, in sales. Fresh faces. And I agree smaller board. Fact is though, the board will never vote to downsize itself, costing fellow members their salaries. If they are invested themselves as insiders, they may have a desire to see their investment return something more than what it is now. But if they are all millionaires and billionaires, their stake in this may be simply like a hobby level.
I think John's desire to be a leader in DEM is a pipe dream if we are where we are now. I remember being in a metals company years ago that was trading in the 40-50 cent range. CEO said that he could see stock being a $50.00 stock within 10 years. People bought into the stock heavily. A year later, they had a 1:10 consolidation and 2 years later, they went out of business. I think that the goals need to be achievable for people to have faith that they can execute. And when they don't, they need not just assurances that management will do better, but a game plan spelled out clearly.
