Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Early Xmas Present

Early Xmas Present Today we got the United Nations on our side, and in the U.S., the House Rules Committee is sending the bill forward for debate and vote (Friday). Ducks are lining up for us all. (and I'm not talking about the orange-faced lame 'Donald' duck south of the border).  Just a short while ago, many or us 'longs' were contemplating throwing in the towel after too many years of WTF.  I am happy to say now that it has been quite a while since I have been this optimistic. The reason has been because of the sector rather than because of what Aphria's management has done. However, the Sweetwater deal does seem to be pleasing the street. Here's to the next stop at $14 and here's to all you "longs" who have endured this bumpy ride with me.
