Here's a fact that you didn't know: di-lithium crystals are 50% gold!!!
On a serious note, gold and the mining of it will always hold it's store of value! Governments derive an enormous amount of taxes from it. It provides large amounts of employment and through that more taxes!! Can we say the same about cryptos? Don't lose your faith in the yellow metal it'll always be with us!
On the matter of gold as an anchor; I'm sure Trump would like that for his boat :-))!
One more thing Peep, can you keep the volume of your posts down! Please! I've got ADD, something akin to MPG's Asperger's Syndrome ;-))!!

You lost me after
Hey Peep !!! :)
That's what MPG says about me .
And that I have asperger disorder, not you.
I also can't think or read think right now.
I wore my brain cells and corresponding soul to that,
out
for the time being.
But you gave me food for thought.
Not literally food, but figurative food.
Like cryptos, it's lighter and easier to carry around,
And like cryptos it is real and tangible even though so ephemeral
(airy) and hard to pin down.
Unlike gold.
Which is heavy and dense (stupid even) -:)
So many I answered your question after all ??? LOL
But you are right, but maybe this one last time.
It's gold's last hurrah????????
Once the china's people, India's people and Brazil's people, don't
want gold anymore, will the financial market even consider gold
anymore?????
