RE:RE:RE:RE:Sit back and Relax - LKAB has us covered I was contesting politicat's seemingly negative comment that appeared to be a bash, not your comment.
I'm well aware LKAB is one of the world's top pellet producers, as well as being aware of their plans. ;)
But to your point, while article was not clearly written, that's not what it says. The process as LKAB has currently establishes it modifies pellets using hydrogen processing to reduce carbon. As I said in my post, this is downstream from any part PYR plasmas will have already played in pelletization.
So you don't use hydrogen to make pellets. You use hydrogen to modify pellets on the road to sponge iron.
Again, the hydrogen process turns pellets into sponge iron. So instead of selling pellets to the end user, they will sell sponge iron.
But the pellets themselves currently will remain as the starting point of the process.

Are you contesting the take away of the article which was
The plan involves replacing the production of iron ore pellets with a hydrogen-based process, free from carbon dioxide.
it seems they (LKAB)do produce iron pellets
and that will use hydrogen to produce it :)
