Primary Symbol: GTBAF

Great Bear Resources Ltd. is a Vancouver-based gold exploration company focused on advancing its 100% owned Dixie project in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. A significant exploration drill program is currently underway to define the mineralization within a large-scale, high-grade disseminated gold discovery made in 2019, the LP Fault. Additional exploration drilling is also in progress to expand and infill nearby high-grade gold zones, as well as to test new regional targets.

RE:RE:RE:RE:Bitcoin or gold ?

RE:RE:RE:RE:Bitcoin or gold ?Voisey Bay (nickel/copper) sold before there was a resource estimate.  All you need is an interested major with their own team who can look at all the drill results and come up with their own estimate where they feel safe to make a bid.  This is shaping up to be a massive rare gold deposit the likes of which are getting harder to come by, what an addition to reserves it would make to a company like Barrick or Newmont that are depleting their own reserves by millions of ounces per year.  Maybe a bidding war starts, maybe someone like Barrick/Newmont come in on a JV offer as they already work together in Nevada and a bidding war doesn't serve them well.  Maybe even keep GBR in for 20 or 30% of the venture.  I know majors are hesitant to throw money around wastefully like they did in the past, but on the other hand they have a duty to shareholders to replace their reserves at reasonable cost.  I don't think they mind paying a big sum if they know they are getting value for it.
