Chinook Testing

The thing about PB's interview this morning is when he says we will be testing Chinook to se "IF"
the well contains hydrocarbons.
In the news release a few weeks ago he said the well has " XXXX" ft of hydrocarbon bearing zones.

Why would he say "IF", I thought he would say how much gas it has after testing.

Thoughts?? got me a little concerned
