RE:RE:$115 target in 2 years for NanoXplore! You really have a long way to go!
40 kg of graphene per EV , with a forecasted 26 million EVs sold in 2030. Sounds like a very significant total addressable market for GRAPHENE! From the Raymond James' analyst report:
Developments in Battery and Silicon-rich Anodes of Substantial Importance While NanoXplore has been working on aspects related to graphene as an additive in battery applications for several years (i.e., 4-5 years), management fully acknowledged that recent disclosures made by Tesla during its battery day presentation brought their activity more readily into the limelight. From a NanoXplore perspective, the company has already filed patents pertaining to a graphene / plastic mixture for a battery application to address the challenges presented through the use of silicon-rich anodes. Pilot lines are currently being installed to more readily test the viability of this application with results anticipated during CY 2021. Success in such an application would be a massive game-changer for GRA, with management estimating that a single electric vehicle application in this context would use 30-40 kg of graphene. For context, BloombergNEF, is forecasting global EV sales of 26 mln in 2030, with a total EV fleet size of 116 million.
