For me it's not a turn off...it makes me ask the question... what's all the hype about? It makes me want to look at the numbers and see if there are justifications for an increase, what is so good with this plan, etc.
For those who are new to this stock, take a close look the plan, the revenue per cube, the profitability per cube, understand PE ratios and you can understand how those numbers can affect the stock price. It's worth it to invest in some understanding of the math involved to help predict the stock price. This will give you a reference number what you think the stock is worth. It will help you to filter which posts are material or not.
I have my number in mind but that number is based on a variety of assumptions. The overwhelming need for QSC now is the effective implementation of their plan. Please don't listen to all those who say that covid is a hoax and it will disappear in the immediate or short term; or testing won't be needed because we have a vaccine coming in December. Be objective and look at how the US and the greater world population has responded thus far to the crisis.
Not all will take the vaccine. It will take months for all those who will get vaccinated to be vaccinated. After that testing will be crucial for work, events, and everyday life. Like it or not, testing is here to stay for some time. The overwhelming impact on the global economy has now created a need for mitigation moving forward.
Be objective and not political. Look at the math and determine your projected value of the company. Key in on the points you like about the company and monitor their progress. If the company can implement their plan, I see no reason why this stock doesn't reach double digits, but a lot has to happen before that and I'll be monitoring accordingly and constantly re-evaluating my position. Sorry for the long post.
