RE:Buyback and Rogers silence Iseevalue wrote: Quinsam should administer a massive buyback initiative to drastically increase shareholder value even if it costs a bit of money to do so. If true NAV is at a major discount even dividends should be cancelled and pushed into stock buy backs as it's a more efficient return of capital to the shareholder anyway in the form of tax sheltering.
I would love to see the performance for the next quarter, with HMMJ up around %50 since September 30th it will be interesting to see if Roger has either completely scammed everyone and he's just taking in more shares and granting himself options to gain more and more control.
To me his silence is becoming deafening and shareholders are getting fed up with the absolute garbage PR this company has.
As someone pointed out, it's the general markets
and liquidity events which will elevate the NAV/sh even further than the .30/sh posted as at Sept 30. Huge increase in Cannabis stock prices in general. It stands to reason that stateside, the market is gearing up for smaller co's to enter the market. When those come to fruitition, it would not surprise me to see our portfolio go up by more than the 50% that general Cannabis markets have increased since sept 30. Early stage investments, as we have seen in Canada, can go up by a factor of 5, 10 or more. Pretty sure Roger has a good picker !
Also anyone know if a Company can buy more than 5% of its stock back in any given year ? I believe it is possible - but not sure the requirements/circumstances.
