RE:RE:RE:Does this make sense?I wonder which is better, a massive pool of oil or gas. Both would good I guess but oil seems to be taxed almost punitively in T&T whereas Gas not quite so badly. Maybe it's a supply demand issue, they need the gas more than they need the oil so they lighten up on the tax on gas.
I belive our net back per barrel was around $ 15 but I don't know if that's good or bad relative to other jurisdictions and I guess we won't know how that stacks up against gas until we have a deal. We may be better off with all gas vs. a mix of gas/oil.
An oil discoveries seem to be sexier for whatever reason but if the economics of gas are better then I'll take the gassy old maid instead.
