RE:RE:RE:RE:March Copper at $3.5275I haven't posted in a while and this weekend I figured I would have a look at this thread. I was surprised to see a negative comment on Capstone? I'm not sure that you have been closely following the whole base metals sector but CS is the number#1 performing mining stock YTD. They are up 153% YTD versus good base metals companies like HBM +76% and FM +61%.
Remember they impressed the market with great exploration results at Cozamin all year and the new mine plan delivered in September led to many Analyst upgrades and NAV gains for us shareholders. I was happy to see Cozamin impress with 36c C1 costs in Q3. I also like what they are doing at Pinto Valley with new technologies.
The CEO at the Scotia conference last week was saying they are days from finishing the new one-way ramp at Cozamin so their 2021 production targets are on track.
Capstone is going to outperform in 2021 in my view... there's no other copper stock I'd rather own than CS under $2.00 per share with copper prices above $3.00/Ib. Check out their recent presentation https://capstonemining.com/investors/events-and-presentations/default.aspx Go to page 14 to see how much cash they'll make at $3.50 copper over the next few years. It's unbelievable for a company with a market cap of ~C$760 million.
