RB "It's the company's Duty of Care and responsibility to send to me in advance in a timely manner notices to me." I believe you may be mistaken about this. If you are a benefical shareholder, the responsibility to provide timely information on corporate actions lies with your brokerage firm. And I'd venture if you look at the fine print associated with your account, that responsibility is reduced to 'best effort basis' and that's all they commit to. If you are a registered shareholder, only then can HSE be held accountable (or perhaps then the responsibility lies with the stock transfer company - Computershare or some such -  and if that's true then I'd say they cover their azzez in the fine print as well).
