RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Short position Hi Form
As a general question, do you actually make money or lose (overall since you have been in and out of SNC) like you post? If I recall, you mentioned the $100k or so you lost on SNC here?
No idea how many shares you own or what your average cost is every time you jump in and out like this. Just trying to understand how big or medium or small time investor you are.
It would drive me totally nuts to do what you do for the simple fear I missed the final low and that the stock is finally moving up with no turning back. I know the stock continues to trade up and down in a narrow trading range ($20 to $25) with an extreme low of $17 plus on the recent earnings report.
If the system you use works for you and makes you money then go for it. No system works to perfection all the time. If that was the case then everyone would follow that system which would also destroy the stock market if everyone knew the one and only system that worked all the time. I still say there are different systems that work at different times. That is why you have buyers and sellers on each transaction. That is why the stock market exists.
Sorry no disrespect to you or others who invest that way. Just trying to understand the behavioural part of how you invest with your model. That model is just not for me that's all.
If you are making money and it works for you then congratulations and continue with the system you feel comfortable with.
