Je croirais que dans ces circonstances, les shorts se premunissent en achetant des options d'achat,
ce qui en soi, leur assure le droit de racheter autant de titres vendus a decouvert a un bas prix de levee pour se couvrir entierement.

I would assume that shorts are buying an equivalent amount of calls as shares shorted, when the price drops, which in turn provides them with the right to buy the shares at a low strike price should a squeeze happen.
