RE:"Q. In terms of fair value, how do you see Touchstone?
"We do not have recommendations on house stocks although our Risked NAV estimate has been materially upgraded, reflecting the significant value that Touchstone has added to the flagship Ortoire project since drilling commenced last year"

This is to be percieved as very positive.. as the house is in the business of making money. "China wall" not withstanding.
Meaning house stocks are (supposedly handled/treated) different from client stocks as they're run by different departments.
Sometimes the suspicion is that the "house" becomes aware of a "rising star" by looking at the trading pattern of their clients. This data then goes to their own (called "the house"... aka think of it in terms of a casino) trading reseasch/trading department.
Sometimes, we hear the term "front running" where your broker MAY take your info and (based on your success/history) might decide to get into the stock for their own benefit. Then of course if we take it one step further, we get into the other "illegal" activity called, "tipping". BWDIK?
Caveat Emptor.. "the house" always comes up with ways to profit from their clients interests... and don't have the comissions to consider.
