In short, new management team, holder of a $hit load of genetic tobacco patents, cannabis exposure & patents that can alter the plants production of common &
rare cannabinoids, and as of late they are touting a new business line in plants????? I'm thinking mushrooms!!!!
The FDA is planning on makeing changes to cigarettes, making the amount of nicotine in smokes to a non-addictive level!! If this happens, every tobacco company in the USA will be pounding there door down for geneticly altered tobacco and/or XXII patents!!!

Yes, they do have some things worth considering and also in regards to the FDAs ambitions. And yes, it could be a good investment. But my thinking goes mostly around the low nicotine cigarettes. The problem with this low nicotine concept is that it a result of inside-out thinking rather than outside-in. It is considered a good thing to make people stop smoking and governments are all behind it. BUT this concept will not work. Why?
Because smokers want their usual level of nicotine, they need it. If you lower the nicotine they will just smoke more. It doesn't work. Well, how about smokers who just want to smoke less and eventually try to quit? Same problem here. You will still be addicted to nicotine.
The only way this can work is if new, young smokers make the low nicotine cigarette their first time choice the day they start to smoke. Then they will get addicted only to a lower nicotine.
In my opinion and a former heavy smoker, this concept has no future in real life. BUT you will be able to make money on the stock.
