RE:RE:HiWay Brand Given the quality, I wonder how much price plays into consumers mind as bingo and vff under 5/g relative to Hiway 5.35/g. We'll see.
fires Hiway prerolls still the cheapest on the market on OCS. Given the positive reviews, I wonder how much volume they went through. I would imagine a lot.
as for sugarleaf - based on Alberta and Newfoundland - looks like fire moving from 1g to 1.5g all 0.5g joints. 11.99 - so 8/g. Looks like that's what they will stock in Ontario too eventually.
indiva was packaging the 1g sugarleaf prerolls, I think that agreement is over now, and fire has everything in house. Allows them to make those sugarleaf pre-rolls cheaper.
The cheap stuff seemed to have some sell outs. Hiway prerolls were sold out a few times and then stocked fairly quick. Oils in and out of stock a lot too - the 510 vape cart also was in and out.
Lots of opportunity with new products, and the ever expanding ontario retail (80 new stores a month now) -
would be nice to see some innovative/proprietary strains and products come out too.

That would appear super competitive in both legal and black markets. It'll be interesting to see if Hiway starts to gain significant market share in the value segment.
My question/concern is, how will the flower be differentiated between Hiway and 7acres? At a glance looking on OCS, there doesn't appear to be too much difference. Will this lead to a lot of cannabalization of Supremes other offerings? We can already see they stopped stocking Sugarleaf pre-rolls, following launch of Hiway pre-rolls. Looks like the price will need to drop by at least half for Sugarleaf pre-rolls to have any relevance in the market. I would like to see large format Sugarleaf pre-rolls, such as a 7g offering containing 14 x 0.5g joints, perhaps soon enough.
