Grievance & Revenge Addiction Studies are showing that the brains of people who engage in chronic expressions of grievance and vengeance produce the same reward type of brain response that drugs and gambling addictions produce.
I read of this
in Politico the other day. The article was about Trump followers but also went on to other types of grievance and revenge rhetoric and addictive reward responses. You can read more about the science
here and
here.
There are people on this forum who have nothing to express but grievance and vengeance, and there have been times when private discussion of these people did raise questions about what the insides of their heads might look like.
For those who engage in this addictive behaviour, I prescribe a healthy dose of shares at imminently higher prices. For others who are capable of more normal outlooks and responses, I recommend, for regularity, large flake oats every morning at market open, and if you are almost devoid of addictive tendencies, several large cups of dark roast coffee, straight up, no chaser. I, personally, can claim no addiction to porridge, although my coffee consumption might be questioned.
Ok, obviously, multiple fuses have been lit.
More to come,
elsewhere, no grievance or vengeance anticipated. Just the tonic for the pain of his long wait.
