Viruses mutate. This one is no different and is not a plot theory. Just extremely difficult to shutdown because of its spreading factor, sudden cytokin storm and many that for too long didn't care about simple, affordable and basic rules (wearing of a mask, keeping social distancing, avoiding gatherings unless necessary).
