Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Yeah no kidding . If we asked him last week if he liked Tilray he would bash them and say "the CEO is over paid" and "they have garbage products". Savage would go on to say "Aphria would never make a deal where they would lose their name and disappear into the abyss, they are the face of cannabis."

How much you think combined simon and kennedy made off this merger ?...

If i had to guess i think the Sweet water deal kicked off this merger . IMO think InBev was eyeing Sweetwater before Aphria scooped them . The seltzer and craft beer market has been hot compaired to  regular beer sales. The one possible bright spot is if InBev makes a large equity deal in Tilray now comparable to STZ investment in Canopy Growth. This could lead to a sector bull-run if this happens .

I feel for some of the Longs on this board who believed in the Aphria name long-term . Up 2% is such a let down. Aph longs couldve just invested in Tilray and seen a huge jump today . I hope this ends up bringing you guys some returns on your investments as most been through ALOT of b.s

How many are sticking with this going forward?. Will the Aphria bullboard still exist or is everyone going to switch over to posting on the Tilray Graveyard board ?
