In Canada, regardless of the party, we can be swayed if the in power party or leader does a good job. For instance, I'm not a Ford fan but I'm impressed at how he has handled the Covid pandemic. I'm not so impressed with the Ontario Conservative party's position on education and health care so it will be interesting to see in the next election whether the public gives greater weight to the Covid response vs. the other platforms.
