Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

The stigma is finally gone. I have been with APHA since the .tsxv and this is the best move they have made imo. Tilray hit 150$ USD at it's peak and has US ties. If the APHA ticker hit 20$ it would be a fire sale... I could see Tilray hit 40$ plus and many won't bat and eye. Gonna be strange being a TLRY shareholder, and even though it is just a symbol... Finally feels like moving past the corruption in the company. I do like the Portugal production site as well, but in the short term, expect Tilray to shhut down it's Canadian facilities.

One could argue that it was corruption that shot tilray up to 300.00+. Thats 1600% jump in 2 months.  Their market cap was more than $26 billion at one point. For context, that's larger than CenturyLink, Kroger, Deutsche Bank, and Hershey. The run-up was due to high-frequency trading (HFT) programs being run by institutions...The last time we've witnessed a rise like this for an individual stock was during the dot-com boom in 1999. Tilray gave the sector its dreaded "POT COM" nickname . They burned many investors in the process..

Then this happened -CEO Brendan Kennedy received total compensation of $31.8 million in 2018. That's more than 18 times higher than the nearly $1.7 million that Jeff Bezos got from Amazon. Why did relatively tiny Tilray think that its CEO was worth more than the CEO of one of the most successful companies ever?

Im not knocking the merger i hope it works out for everyone involved . Im just bringing up contrary opinions and facts. I think Tilray has some solid brands. I love the EVERIE CBD beverages . The Marley natural is an awesome brand and will kill it states side imo.
Marley Green, Marley Gold, Marley Red and Marley Black.
