Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Should we be happy about this ? Why yes ? Why no?

Should we be happy about this ? Why yes ? Why no?

I understand we now have technically entered the US market (which is still not in effect but obviously bound to happen one day - hopefully sooner than later... right republicans lol...) but I thought that was somewhat done through the acquisition of sweet water...

Anyways I'd like to hear from you guys what you think about this move?

From my perspective Aphria was doing things better than any other competitior... lowest cost per production, great balance sheet with a nice cash position ( before and after the steelwater acquisition) profitable (at least before the infringement loss last quarter) gaining market share in Canada!! And a great year up over 50% for SP.

All great signs of a properly ran company and now we are pairing up with a company I that has had a plummeting share price and even negative year this year down roughly 50% (I can't say I've followed them much and having looked into their financials yet) but anyways why do you guys like this move and why do you not? Please share comments of your opinions without bashing those who see things from another perspective. Thanks
