Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Homestretch4me wrote: Sure. Let's start with Martha Stewart CBD. Let's continue with biosteel. Then let's go to acreage which will give canopy 6280 dispensaries across the us as well as cultivation and processing licenses which are very hard to get in some states. Snoop Dogg, Seth Rogan's, Patrick Mahomes, Connor McDavid and the athlete list for Bayou steel goes on and on and on. Most people don't give much wait to celebrity endorsements and in the Canadian Market I agree because you're not allowed to use them. The u.s. is a different animal. Branding and marketing will be Paramount in the US market. In Canada I could put some grass in a container and nobody would know the difference until they opened it up. Really what does aphria have. They have very little money and combined with tilray they still have very little money. They don't really have a large entrance into the u.s. Cannabis Market. People on this board will tell you Baptist Sweetwater deal gave a free about access and that is false information. What the Sweetwater deal gave aphria was nothing more than a small craft Brewer and some distribution. The Sweetwater deal gives them absolutely no access to the u.s. Cannabis Market in terms of THC because you need licenses to grow, licenses to process, licenses to sell etc etc. Sweetwater provides none of these. Why do you think Africa hasn't taken off on the Sweetwater deal and now the announcement of this tilray merger? It's because none of those two deals change anything. As a matter of fact the best company out of all three of them is probably Sweetwater. When a triggering event happens in the US how many cultivation, processing, dispensary licenses will aphria have within the first 2 months. Probably zero. Canopy, thanks to acreage will have the most dispensaries in the US. Don't believe me, research acreages dispensary licenses. The numbers may have changed a bit because acreage sold off a few non-profitable dispensaries but the footprint for canopy is going to be huge. How well do you think you'll be able to execute on all those with 7 billion dollars behind them. I know you're going to ask me where I get 7 billion dollars from so I may as well answer that now. Canopy has 2 billion dollars in the bank and the minute the triggering event happens for the deal between acreage and canopy to be completed, constellation Brands is going to buy the second tranche of canopy shares giving them another five billion dollars Canadian to attack and dominate the US market. It's just my opinion but that's why I believe canopy is the Golden Goose.

Regarding the canopy/acreage/constellation deal let's factor in the high $$$$ losses and why does the market look favourably upon the continued monetary loss? Don't get me wrong my best trade in this sector involved canopy but when you see the execution and EBITDA that aphria was and still is acheiving something really smells of market manipulation. ahphria should be at least double its current sp when you analyze the numbers. Why are the other companies allowed to lose billions and do reverse splits and get approvals from the market? Please explain for all to see.
