The only thing we know is that NGC will supply the pipelines and the necessary equipment to get the gas to market. This saves the company several hundred of million dollars in capex and gets each well straight into free cash flow once drilling costs have been recovered. That is a very nice thing to have! No need for dillution, operational costs, maintenance costs, capex, etc. Just exploration costs and free cash flow. Once the wells are drilled all costs are done and then off to profit and free cash flow as fast as possible!
Yes, this deal is a
very nice thing to have, for sure, as it makes the road to production much less bumpy and tricky with T&T themselves doing that work for us especially when it comes to the financing of it.
Anyone expecting the price to be announced here is just ill-informed on how these things work in T&T as pricing is usually not made public. Though with that said I had hoped for a little more info on the deal incl in the NR but according to the company it's mostly confidential so not possible to announce in detail, but hopefully Paul will be able to reveal something more in the Proactive interview coming up hopefully later today.
But today's news is good news no doubt about it.
