RE:RE:RE:Holy MakrelKeep pumping, Stockman, and alias's! I'm conitinuing to add shares, as you post so the pumping helps! BTW, I never said I was involved in negotiations representing UNIFOR. I was on the negotiating committee representing The CAW! That's when our membership was being paid, $ 35-$ 37, per hour. That's also when our benefits covered more costs for Dental, and other Medical expenses! That was given up by the then, new union, called UNIFOR! We went, from a high of 28,000 blue collar workers, in Oshawa, to the now Zip workers, for GMC. The wages that we gained through negotiations, through the years, went down hill, to approximately, $ 16 per hour, negotiated by Unifor. Anyways, again, I'll restate, some comments, (that Unions don't have any capitol, to make deals, but can, (if the membership agrees) negotiate agreements with companies, to pay the cost of certain medical expenses). To get something, the Unions have to give up something. Do you think the memebership is going to give up some wage gains, or other benefits to get some type of coverage for Medical Pot? Oh yah, GM is moving back some of their operations back to Oshawa, which will employ up to 2500 blue collar workers, at minimum wage!
