Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:😂😂😂

RE:RE:😂😂😂My $0.02 - they will keep the current Aphria listing on the TSX and just rename the company. After all, Aphria is the acquiring company. There are too many Canadian shareholders to abandon.

There is no vote on this deal for Aphria shareholders. We've empowered IS to make these deals for us. (our bad). Tilray shareholders get a vote, and hence the 20% premium.

This deal is about IS being in charge of a bigger company so that he can justify a larger paycheck next year.

The only silver lining I see is consider this deal as the purchase of a $65 million dollar six month call option on Tilray. Once Aphria completes their due diligence, if Tilray's financials are bad they can walk away. (They wont. This deal is done, IS wants the $$$.)
