RE:RE:RE:update on CNN

RE:RE:RE:update on CNNMP3seeker,

In the 4 years that Trump has been in power, more than 7.5 trillion has been added to the national debt.  This is nearly as much as Obama in 8 years.  It would not surprise me if Biden adds even more than Trump in the next 4 years because hardly any politician has the guts to give people honest choices:  increase taxes to cover increased spending or reduce spending to match lower taxes. Republicans typically want to reduce taxes but not spending.  Democrats typically want to increase spending but not taxes.  It is failure of democracy that Americans and many other people around the world do not get to make real cold hard choices.  I think it is smart of Biden to direct the stimulus to green energy because the business case for coal (and possibly oil)  for electrical energy production is diminishing.  However, at the end of the day, you are right that the 2 trillion in stimulus will not come from increased taxation or an increasingly productive economy.  It will come from money printing, which bolsters the case for a rising gold price.

Cheers
