Nano One ...Nano One is to cathode to what
HPQ is to silicon. Both key materials required for lithium-ion batteries.
And curiously, them too (Nano One), have a one-step process for their technology, as per this video:
Nano One's Coated Single Crystal Cathode Materials Explained So it's possible that we have interest from the same car manufacturer, that would see the advantages that bring these 2 one-step technologies.
Again, timing in the development of both HPQ and NANO One technologies is curious as they are both different unrelated components but that are seen as key components in the making of a more performant batterie. That they pretty much arrived at the same time in the commercialization of their own product is surreal.
Nano One:
Nano One has entered into a cathode evaluation and benchmark agreement with an American based multinational auto manufacturer to jointly evaluate Nano One's cathode materials for automotive lithium ion batteries.

HPQ:
GlobeNewswire Dec. 17, 2020
Through its 100% owned subsidiary HPQ NANO Silicon Powders Inc, the PUREVAP TM Nano Silicon Reactor (NSiR ) , a new proprietary process that can use different purities of silicon (Si) as feedstock, to make spherical silicon nanopowders and nanowires. - HPQ believes it can also become the lowest cost manufacturer of spherical Si nanopowders and silicon-based composites needed by manufacturers of next-generation lithium-ion batteries .

Different parts of the battery (positive terminal vs negative terminal), different recipe of materials, different processes, different market segments.
I'm sure there's lots of Googling that could be done to figure it all out.
One of my fears in posting that information (which is why I posted in a different forum), was that it would be leapt on by those bash-associated types who would argue it's a competitor to HPQ yada yada. It's not, so let's not go down that road please.
