Funding for the project comes from the Clean Energy for Rural and Remote Communities program. The six-year, $220-million program aims to reduce reliance on diesel in rural and remote communities by deploying and demonstrating renewable energy, encouraging energy efficiency and building local skills and capacity.

fauxtomato wrote: I don't think much Pipestone light oil or condensate make it to PGR. The market for condensate is big enough in Alberta that it should continue to command a premium to WTI. The advantage of producing biodiesel at PGR will be generating low carbon fuel credits.

In the next 12 months they're going to come to a point where they need capital to advance a larger scope biodiesel project at PGR, and that could grab the first ex-Pioneer capex dollars.

I expect we won't hear much from TWM until after Pioneer closes
