As at Nov. 4
«, 2020, 14,029,500 shares had been repurchased year to date for $526.6-million ($709.5-million (Canadian));or $ 50,32/sh
So if we add your number:
KL has bought back 3.35m shares to date in Q4. KL has bough back over 17 379 000 share so far near $ 900 M canadian !
========================
Issued shares to buy Detour:
the company issued approximately 77,217,129 Kirkland shares under the arrangement to former Detour Gold shareholders as consideration for their Detour shares.
The 2020 buy back share program represent 22 % and value the acquisition at about M $ 4 bilion and will bring 700 000 oz of gold at KL for 20 years and more.
Time will show the true value of this acquisition .
According in a couple of years Detour could produce over 800 000 oz/year on a constant basis.
So at the time Fosterville will reduce production because of ore depletion ,
Detour will compensate .
Macassa to be a 425 000 gold producer /year early 2022 and reserves for more then 25 years .
Just to say KL is a top gold producer and 2 years from now ;
Guidance will be;
-Macassa 425 000
-Detour ... 800 000
-Fosterville 375 000
....Total 1 600 000
Actual 2020 midpoint guidance :of 1 350 000 oz
So in 2 years from now Kl will increase its output 18 %.
Just to say KL is a long term position to have in a portfolio.
