Could have something to do with the pipeline being sold to a regulated utility and added to its rate base, so it's passing through multiple regulatory agencies. Its expensive for TWM as the ebitda on the asset is essentially equal to the interest on the sale price, so that is seriously dead cap for them, and by the time they do dispose of Pioneer the volumes will be starting to ramp up as TA completes additional conversions
The abandoned wells were accumulated from their various cheap acquisitions, I think a good chunk of them are old Husky wells that came with Valhalla? The data is public, but they have 3x the number of wells on the books as Keyera. Don't know how much production is associated with them, most are shut in but some are still producing
