The Demand

The Demand

Although when it comes to precious metals gold has been garnering most of the attention, the increase in electric vehicles has created possibly an even larger demand- demand for rare earth metals such as nickel and lithium.

These metals are not getting enough recognition as they should. There is a growing demand for electric vehicles (EVs) in an increasingly climate-conscious worldwide society. In fact, according to Deloitte, total EV sales are expected to grow from about 2.5 million in 2020 to approximately 11.2 million in 2025, then reach around 31.1 million by 2030.
