RE:New report by MorningstarThanks for sharing Gabriel
Very nice indeed. The valuation metrics on SNC are absurdely cheap. But that works in our favour for the eventual rebound. The initial bounce up will be the lightning quick kickstart that catches the investing community off guard and forces them to ask the questions "what is going on with SNC these days"? Those of us who have been following and have bought on the cheap and dollar cost averaged in will be the biggest beneficiaries here imo.
We are getting close for sure. I still say we could be 1 year away from the big move up once a good portion of the remaining infra lstk projects are off SNC's books and the "market" is convinced and content to reward the stock price. If this is indeed SNC's successes based on their past experience then I say the market is mispricing those remaining lstk projects anywhere between $15 to $20. That gap will close with each quarter that goes by until the "official and complete end" of those lstk project are runoff. (End of 2022 or early 2023). The resources lstk could be still be 1 to 3 more months away to fully complete at 100 percent. With the seasonal holidays and the COVID lockdown once again in effect, I wouldn't be surprised to see those completed by March 31, 2021 at the latest. But big deal there. The losses (if any) should be very minuscule at this stage with very little remaining works to be completed. If they show a profit on resources lstk then my guess is the stock starts to show some traction and move up.
If the quarterly results going forward start to show a good and growing eps beat then sp will reflect the big gap between sp and intrinsic value much quicker than my Dec "2021" forecast
All good imo regardless. Patience!
