RE:RE:RE:Scare tacticsGoes to show bio plastics is just like bio-oil still plastic and still oil.
Just another way to fool people into thinking they are actually doing something.
Recycling Myth of the Month: Plant-based bioplastics are not as 'green' as some think
At first glance, bioplastics seem like an appealing alternative to regular plastics. They look, feel, and perform like plastic, but they get their shape and sturdiness from renewable sources – like corn starch, sugarcane, and plastic-producing microorganisms – instead of petroleum.
Further, some scientists estimate that while regular plastics will linger in landfills for hundreds of years, some bioplastics will break down in weeks or months under certain conditions. These plastics are often labeled “compostable” or “biodegradable” – two terms that purportedly promise to dissolve your takeout lunch container along with any guilt you may be feeling.

It's called bioplastic genius. So when the plastic ban kicks in GDNPs products will still be allowed in the market. That's why Business Development Bank of Canada invested in GDNP because it's just another plastic company.
GDNP purchased the company for many diff reasons: positive EBITDA, increased production capabilities and it allows them to enter the medical field (essential industry).
As for the cheap paper, everybody assuming sp is gonna drop which it might but nobody knows. If it does I'll be buying.
The potential in Gdnp is worth greater than the risk. Do we become profitable in 2021? With Surrey BC implementing a bylaw on single use plastic including plastic grocery bags, does GDNP release the second line of soft bioplastic which should include bioplastic grocery bags? Or will they sign a contract in the medical field?
Who knows but there ain't nothing to worry about.
