RE:Update on DPX-Covid19
RE:Update on DPX-Covid19 So still at the preclinical phase with more to come, no immediate plan to go into humans. They talk about the "evolution of the regulatory landscape", it seems reasonable to think this is the main driver of the constantly revised timelines. I guess the one thing I'd like more detail on is the ferret challenge study, some way to compare the response in this vaccine to others just to know we do have a competitive vaccine at least in the animal model setting. Certainly the tone of the PR suggests they think they have something that could be competitive if it ever gets into humans, after the expectation of warp speed the new regulatory landscape (which looks a lot more like the old, usual landscape) is very frustrating. With the whole population expected to be vaccinated will there be suitable volunteers for trials?
