Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:The merger

RE:RE:The mergerMerger is a neg thing long term,  the bolstered the Canadian market share but it is known that the Canadian market is capped out.

The large market about to open up is the US market.  Aph would have been way better off signing a deal with a MSO than joining forces with Tilray.

Now they have one company and no US market share for THC/CBD market.  they will require huge dilution to build that out.

Being the biggest and most expensive is not always a good thing.  Tilray was once $148USD a share and look where they are now,

Its like a kid on the play gound who is bragging about being the fastest,  once puberty hits that kid normally becomes the slowest

pdcon1 wrote: the market is treating the merger negatively  doesnt matter the percentage here  83% of nothing is nothing .  mm use this merger on the negative side to drop share price to accumulate  for the long run meanwhile day trading to make short term profits  in the end we have the biggest weed producer at the highest price.
