RE:More headwinds?

RE:More headwinds? This is the equivalent of big tech being investigated in the US and the fears of Facebook being broken up. Any shake up in the market doesn't mean much other than a drop in SPs on a temporary basis to shake out retail shareholders.

Neither country can remotely afford to divest in technology nor can they cut off the hand that feeds them - especially with rising tentensions with China and the US, with the 2 superpowers fighting for the top spot.

Even if and when the Demz assume control over the White House we will see more of a even playing field as tensions loosen, and at which point the BS about government protecting the rights of civilians can continue.

In reality, this is the government merely asking for their fair share of data when it comes to monitoring citizens and brown paper bags of money from lobbyists. The only difference between the Chinese and US government is one plays the role of 'bad cop' the other 'good cop' but they both are after the same things and both have to work with big tech to maintain power.
