RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Another Day: Oil price Up, ENB Downhey sarge, you're too kind. i haven't done much other than tread water since the pandemic hit.

not needing a lot of money.

How she go?
I'm honoured to be mentioned as being in the same investing league as you as I know how well you;ve done and what a great investor you are.
I was also initially bummed out about ENF but after I thought about it for a while, I was actually quite happy about it as I think getting all the subs pulled in was a good move and I'm very confident that ENB will do very well in the long term.
I'm planning on holding on to all of our midstreamers for at least another 5-10 years. I really think people have it all wrong on the mid term viability of renewables and are going to wake up and realize that there's major issues and that oil & gas is going to be needed for a long time to come.
Take her easy and keep up the good work

SargeX wrote: As usual, I totally disagree with you on ENB being the wrong stock to pick. I actually quite like our entire ENF/ENB experience and am very confident that it will get even better.
I like it so much that it is one of three stocks I recently bought for the grandkids.
We originally got into ENB with the ENF roll-up. I;m happy to report that we made a very tidy $40k profit in the 5 years we held ENF.
I checked out our total return including dividends on ENB since the 2018 roll-up and we are up another $7.2k. Very nce considering we are near a bottom with the current stock price.
I still can't understand why you wouldn't just sell and move on. It really is what any normal investor would do when they are this unhappy with a stiock. I guess it keeps reaffirming how inexperienced an investor you really are. :-)

At this rate in 6 months new buyers of ENB will be getting a 12% YOC.
Lucky them, I'll still be at 8% YOC as bought higher, ho-hum. "
